Client configuration
A correct configuration environment is required to run and set up the Packaging Control client.
-
For this, set up the machine environment variable
OPCON_CONFIG_HOME. -
Set the value of the variable to a local directory, e.g.
D:\OpCon\Config. -
Store the configuration files in the directory for all installed MES products.
-
Store the configuration files for the client in
%OPCON_CONFIG_HOME%\PackagingControl_Client. -
Configuration of Keycloak to enable the client to login.
The configuration of the Packaging Control client is divided into two parts. With a few exceptions, the configuration settings are downloaded from the Packaging Control service at start-up. Settings for peripherals, such as scanners, are also made in the client application itself.
This results in two locations for the client configuration settings:
-
ClientConfiguration from OpCon Server Systems (OSS) for each station.
-
Local settings in the Packaging Control client.
