Quality Gate
Quality gate is the verification of specific quality measurement of the product while the operator is packing the products or parts into a specific packaging unit. Part traceability quality gate is being asked to do the quality gate check.
Prerequisites
Before starting, confirm the following system requirements:

Part Traceability
A check type is configured.

Product Setup Management (PSM)
A check type is configured. The Quality Gate Name is set in Packaging Setup Instructions page.

Packaging Control Web UI

Part Quality Integration is configured for the packaging process.

A fallback value of check type is provided in case a check type is not configured in Product Setup Management (PSM).

Order Management:

The order status is set to Released.

Client Packaging Control Station UI:

The application is configured.
-
An active packing process is in progress.
-
The current packing unit is incomplete.

The packaging screen is displayed.

Procedure

Scan the identifier or serial number of the product whose quality gate check should be successful.
Quality gate check success info appears in the log.
The packing of the scanned product or part is successful.

Scan the identifier or serial number of the product whose quality gate check should fail.
Quality gate check failed info appears in the log.
The packing of the scanned product or part fails.
