Discard

The Discard function is used to discard a packaging unit that has been started by mistake within the dashboard. This action is appropriate when it becomes apparent that essential parts or packaging materials (such as boxes or cartons) are unavailable. Discard allows for the immediate discarding of such a packaging unit, enabling the subsequent initiation or scheduling of an alternative task.

Discarding a packaging unit will end the active packing process and return the user to the Dashboard.

Prerequisites

The application is configured.
An active packing process is in progress.
The current packing unit is incomplete.
Role as Packaging Operator or Packaging Enhanced Operator.

Procedure

Click on Discard.

A confirmation dialog is shown.
Click on Discard.

The Dashboard is loaded.
The details of the active packaging order are displayed, and the packing progress for the current unit is reset.
