Unpacking

The Unpacking process, in this specific context, refers to the essential act of removing items from their existing packaging when a batch or individual part has become non-conforming and is no longer suitable for delivery. The Unpacking takes place as a corrective measure, primarily when a quality control check or an incident reveals that packaged goods are no longer shippable. The purpose is to isolate the affected parts or boxes, allowing them to be either scrapped entirely or sent for rework/repair.
