Automatic setup

Activate Automatic Setup is enabled.

Up to three identification steps can be configured. Each identification step requires a scanning operation by the user to collect the associated information such as type number, type variant and packing index. The sequence of the information contained in each step is irrelevant. If, for example, type number and packing index are contained in one barcode but the type variant is contained in another barcode, two identification steps must be set up.

The following table describes the settings for each identification step.

`Active`	Enables the corresponding identification step.
`Type number → Index`	Identifies the zero-based substring position (index) of the type number information in the scanned identifier.
`Type number → Length`	Identifies the total number of characters for type number information. The type number generally has ten digits.
`Type variant → Index`	Identifies the zero-based substring position (index) of the type variant information in the scanned identifier.
`Type variant → Length`	Identifies the total number of characters for the type variant information.
`Packing index → Index`	Identifies the zero-based substring position (index) for the packing index information in the scanned identifier.
`Packing index → Length`	Identifies the total number of characters for the type variant information. The packing index generally has three digits.
`Split character`	The character used to delimit the scanned identifier. The `Index`-parameter determines the sequence of the split string for a defined value.
`Instruction display text`	The text displayed on the client GUI for the identification step. Example: "Please scan the material number of the HU…"

Active

Enables the corresponding identification step.
