Introduction to Archiving Bridge

The Archiving Bridge module is a messaging-based system that enables client modules to archive and restore files through RabbitMQ communication. When a client module needs to archive a file, it sends a request to the Archiving Bridge via RabbitMQ. Once the archiving process is completed, the requesting module receives an acknowledgment message. File restoration follows the same pattern, with client modules sending restoration requests to the Archiving Bridge through RabbitMQ messaging.

Main Function

  • Archiving file

  • Restoring file

Roles and permissions

All modules of the Nexeed Industrial Application System are based on permissions. Depending on the permissions, different functions are available in a module.
To enable functions, the user is assigned a role based on the desired permission. Permissions are managed in the Multitenant Access Control module.

The standard configuration of the module includes the following roles:

  • User

  • Experts

  • Administrator
