Introduction to the Data Publisher Module
The module Data Publisher is a central gateway that enables modules of the Nexeed Industrial Application System to provide event-driven data to third-party systems (e.g. BMLP Data Platform). For this purpose, the third-party systems to be connected are created as endpoints in Data Publisher. The third-party systems can be connected to the Nexeed Industrial Application System using various protocols. Processing chains are used to configure the type and scope of data transfer between the third-party system and modules in detail.
Main Function
-
Connection of third-party systems to the Nexeed Industrial Application System via different protocols (AMQP 0.9.1, AMQP 1.0 & Kafka)
-
Control of data transfer from Nexeed Industrial Application System modules to third-party systems
-
Definition of processing chains for the type and scope of data transmission
-
Management and monitoring of data pipelines
Roles and permissions
All modules of the Nexeed Industrial Application System are based on permissions. Depending on the permissions, different functions are available in a module.
To enable functions, the user is assigned a role based on the desired permission. Permissions are managed in the Multitenant Access Control module.
The standard configuration of the module includes the following roles:
| Authorization | Application Engineer | Data Analyst | Operations Engineer |
