Quantity packing
Quantity packing is a method where all products or parts for an order are packed at once, without individual scanning.

When to Apply Quantity Packing

Use Quantity Packing when individual scanning of each item is not needed. It is ideal for bulk products.

It can also be used for pre-packaged items to save time when it is sure that all products or parts are correct for the order.

Prerequisites
Before starting, ensure the following requirements are met:

Module Packaging Control:

The application is configured.

Order Management:
-
An order is created. The packaging instruction selected for this order has Quantity Packing selected as its Part Identification.

The order status is set to Released.

Role as
Packaging OperatororPackaging Enhanced Operator.
Procedure
At the end-of-line station, use the Packaging Control Station UI (configured):

Review the packaging order details on the dashboard.

Click
to view the packaging setup. -
Click on Start.
The packaging screen appears.

Click on Confirm.
roducts and parts are packed according to their predetermined packaging quantities. These quantities are detailed in the ID List, and individual item identification scanning is not conducted.
The quantity packing process is completed. The user is redirected to the Dashboard.
