Introduction to the Notification Service Module

The module Notification Service is a system used to record, process and forward events that occur in modules of the Nexeed Industrial Application System. To this end, the events must be registered in a database in the Notification Service. Once registered, individual subscriptions can be created for events and event types. Subscriptions can be assigned to individual users or to multiple users.

Main Function

  • Central management and provision of the registered event types and events of Nexeed Industrial Application System modules

  • Provision of individual event notifications for users in the form of subscriptions

Roles and permissions

All modules of the Nexeed Industrial Application System are based on permissions. Depending on the permissions, different functions are available in a module.
To enable functions, the user is assigned a role based on the desired permission. Permissions are managed in the Multitenant Access Control module.

The standard configuration of the module includes the following roles:
