Configuration of Packaging Control
In order to have a functional and well configured PACO instance the configurations listed below must be available and validated through PACO service. The configurations have to be created with OpCon Server Systems (OSS).

Client configuration - in some use cases this is not required and is not exported by OpCon Server Systems (OSS).
After a configuration file has been uploaded, the configuration needs to be applied via the web interface (available in Nexeed Portal) or the PACO service needs to be restarted. After applying the configuration all clients have to be restarted.
In case that a configuration file has been already uploaded and another one is uploaded, the existing one is overwritten.

Important: The Packaging Control service will automatically try to load the configuration from the database on startup. If the running configuration differs from the configuration in the database, errors may occur during service/container restart. |

The web interface is available without a configuration file. |
