Traceability
The Part Traceability module provides comprehensive tools to track and analyze the lifecycle of parts and components throughout the production process. It enables users to identify, monitor, and evaluate data related to parts, processes, and tools, ensuring transparency and quality control. The following use cases are supported:
-
Part Protocol: Allows users to retrieve detailed information about a specific part, including its production history, associated processes, and quality data. This use case is essential for investigating part-specific issues or verifying compliance with production standards.
-
Forward Search: Identifies all parts in which a specific component is installed, whether as a main part or a built-in part. It provides an overview of parts containing specific components or combinations of components, supporting evaluations at various levels.
-
Backward Search: Traces all components that were used in the production of a specific part. It provides detailed insights into the components and their relationships, aiding in root cause analysis and quality investigations.
-
Tool Usage: Identifies all Unique ID Components processed with specific tools. This use case helps determine which components were affected in the event of a tool anomaly and serves as a starting point for further analysis of the component’s state.
By leveraging these use cases, the Part Traceability module ensures that production processes are transparent, efficient, and compliant with quality standards.
