Enable archiving

Data collected prior to enabling archiving cannot be included in the archiving process retrospectively.

Prerequisites

Archiving Bridge module is installed and configured.
ArchivingBridge Config Reader role is assigned to Part Traceability module.

Procedure

Open Part Traceability > Configuration menu entry.
Click on the Scope Management tab.
Click on the Configuration Scope to be edited.

A side panel opens. The General tab is shown.
Click on the Settings tab.
Toggle on the Enable Archiving switch .

The switch turns blue and archiving is enabled, but needs additional configuration.
Click on .

The dialog window opens.
Click on the Archive that shall be assigned to the Configuration Scope.
Click on Apply.

The dialog window is closed and the Archive is shown in the Settings tab.
Click on Save.

The archiving process is enabled.
