Tours

Under Material flow > Tours , the current tours and their details that were generated by transport orders from Transport Management are displayed. A tour is carried out by at least one vehicle and consists of a start time, an end time and the stations at which the vehicle must stop.

Description of the Interaction Elements: Tours

The following table describes the columns available for tours.

If there are problems with a tour, the ID must be provided to Support.

Column Description

ID

The ID under which the tour is stored in the database

Planned start time

Point in time (date, time) at which the tour should be started

Planned end time

Point in time (date, time) at which the tour should end

Actual start time

Point in time (date, time) at which the tour actually started

Actual completion time

Point in time (date, time) at which the tour actually ended

Status

Current status of the tour

In planning

The tour is being planned or replanned.

Planned

The tour is planned and is waiting to be started.

In transit

The tour is currently underway.

Paused

The tour is interrupted.

Finished

The tour is finished.

Cancelled

The tour has been canceled.

Description

Description of the tour. Contains the usual planned start time and name of the route.

Source hall

The source hall of the tour

Source station

The source station of the tour

Source storage location

The source storage location of the tour

Vehicle ID

The ID under which the vehicle is created in the database

Vehicle

The name of the vehicle performing the tour

The description of the vehicle performing the tour

ID of the vehicle type

Vehicle device ID

The device ID of the tablet assigned to the vehicle. The device ID of the tablet is identical to the vehicle ID.

Ø number of trailers

Average number of trailers that were coupled during a tour

Ø number of transport movements

Average number of transport movements that were loaded during a tour

Ø utilization

Average utilization of loading capacity on connected trailers, in percentage form

Maximum number of trailers

Maximum number of trailers that were coupled during the tour

Maximum number of transport movements

Maximum number of transport movements that were loaded during the tour

Maximum utilization

Maximum utilization of loading capacity on connected trailers, in percentage form

Tours submenu

Sum of all tours available in the system for the selected filters. The information can be found in the upper left-hand area of the submenu.

Archived data

Tours submenu

Processed tours are automatically archived in a separate database. The user can choose whether to search for current or archived tours.

checkbox-default-checked Only tours that are archived are searched for.

checkbox-default Only tours that are available in the current database are searched for.

Displaying Details of Tour Stations

Details of the stations can be displayed for a tour.

  1. Open the Material flow > Tours menu.

  2. To display the stations of the tour, use forward-right in the row corresponding to the desired tour to expand the transport movements.

  3. In the row corresponding to the desired transport movement, use transport-movements to open the details of the station.

The details of the selected station appear in the Station details dialog box.

Setting Up Table Columns For Tours

The columns of the table of tours can be individually hidden and displayed.

  1. Open the Material flow > Tours menu.

  2. In the header, use watch-on to open the Select columns dialog box.

    The column names displayed in the table are listed in the Available columns area. The column titles displayed in the table are listed in the Selected columns area.

  3. Setting up tours:

    • forward-right-double : Move all column titles to the Selected columns pane.

    • back-left-double : Move all column titles to the Available columns pane.

    • Select all : Activate the check boxes of all column titles in the Selected columns pane or in the Available columns pane.

    • Deselect all : Clear the check boxes of all column titles in the Selected columns pane or in the Available columns pane.

    • forward-right : Move checked column titles to the Selected columns pane.

    • back-left : Move checked column titles to the Available columns pane.

      The horizontal arrangement of the columns in the Selected columns pane can be sorted by dragging and dropping. The column title at the top appears in the table on the left.

  4. Apply the changes with Save.

The table of tours is displayed with the required columns.

Organizing the View of the Table of Tours

The table can be sorted by desired columns and the table columns can be moved horizontally. The width of the table columns can be changed.

Changes are not saved.

  1. Open the Material flow > Tours menu.

  2. To move the table columns, use the mouse to move the required column title horizontally.

    The table column appears in the desired position.

  3. To adjust the width of a table column, place the mouse over the column boundary between the column titles.

    The mouse pointer appears as a double arrow.

  4. Move the column boundary by holding down the left mouse button.

    The width of the desired column is adjusted.

  5. To sort the table contents by a column, click the desired column title.

    An up arrow indicates that the table is being sorted by ascending alphabetical order or ascending numbering.

    An down arrow indicates that the table is being sorted by descending alphabetical order or descending numbering.

The table layout is optimized for the respective view.

Filtering the Contents of the Tours Table

The contents of the table can be filtered by column.

  1. Call up the Material flow > Tours menu.

  2. In the header, click filter Filter to open the Filter dialog window.

  3. In the Select filter drop-down list, select the required filter.

    Specific text boxes for filter details appear below the drop-down list.

  4. In the Filter Details text boxes, type the text that you want to filter by.

  5. Activate the filter with Apply.

  6. To also display archived data, enable the Archived data checkbox in the header.

Only the tours that contain the filtered texts appear in the table. The filter criteria appear below the header.

Use close to remove the individual filter criteria below the header. To stop using filters, click Reset filters to remove all filter criteria.

Exporting the contents of the tours table

The filtered contents of the table can be exported to an Excel spreadsheet using the *.csv file format.

  1. Call up the Material flow > Transport movements menu.

  2. Filter the table by the desired content.

  3. In the header, click document-xls to open the file manager.

  4. Save or open the file in the desired location.

  5. Press OK to export filtered contents of the table.

All table contents are exported in the *.csv file format and can be opened from the selected file manager folder.

Updating the Table of Tours

When changing transport orders or transport movements, the view of the table of tours can be reloaded.

  1. Call up the Material flow > Tours menu.

  2. To reload the table view, click refresh in the header.

The table view is current and contains all changes in the tours.
