On Setup Label Creation

Material Management allows the users to create On Setup Label Creation rules to bypass regular checks, and create materials on-the-fly with a Setup to Machine operation for those materials, where the supplier is not yet compliant to the Bosch standard label requirements. These rules match labels by Customer Part Number and Vendor Identifier, Vendor Duns or Supplier Identifier and if matching, create the label and material during the Setup operation. When evaluating On Setup Label Creation Rules for a given Label, the Rule with the best matching Customer Part Number will be considered.

Example: For a label with Customer Part Number "L1234", and rules with Customer Part Number "L12*", "L123*", "L1234", the rule with "L1234" will be chosen.
