Navigation menu

The navigation menu lists all modules and views that the user can access. When a menu entry is selected, the corresponding module view is opened in the content area.

Sections in the navigation menu

Web Portal groups navigation entries into sections based on area of use. This grouping makes large menus easier to scan and helps users identify module context faster.

Section names and section order are managed centrally.

Search in the navigation menu

The search field is integrated in the navigation menu. Search filters navigation entries and shows matching results in the menu area.

Matching terms in entry names are highlighted. When no entries match, Web Portal shows a no-results message.

Favorites in the navigation menu

Users can mark navigation entries as favorites to create a personal shortcut section. The favorites section is shown in the navigation menu when at least one favorite exists.

In edit mode, users can reorder favorites with drag and drop. Favorites are saved per user and persist between sessions.
