Hardware Settings Menu Item, General Tab

Under settings Settings > Hardware Settings > General , basic hardware settings for HAL components such as cameras, barcode scanners, RFID readers, etc. are called up and changed.

Element Description

ShadowCopyDirectory

Set file path for cloned or unzipped devices.

Default value: OPCON_DATA_HOME

JobsDirectory

Set the file path for device jobs.

IpcCallRetries

Specify the number of retries when transferring HAL commands between Rework Control and the devices.

DevicesMergeMode

Specify how the device manager hosts devices:

1 : Only the hard-coded file path is used (without recourse to DevicesDirectory ).

2 : Accesses both the hard-coded file path and DevicesDirectory.

3 : Only DevicesDirectory is used.

Default value: 2

ConfigDirectory

Specifies the directory in which the HAL component searches for the associated HAL configuration files.

DevicesDirectory

Specify a directory in which the device manager searches for additional devices (depending on DevicesMergeMode ).

If a file path is configured outside the root directory (for example, devices only), the device manager assumes that the configured directory is a subfolder of the config path.

LogDirectory

Specify the file path under which the HAL component stores trace data.
