When the mouse pointer is moved over a line, the DMC code of the material ID corresponding to the currently selected material reservation is displayed. In order for the DMC labels to appear when the mouse pointer is moved over the line, the entire contents of the ID column must fit into the cells.

There are two types of material order:

  • Requirement
Material Orders window: Status of a request

  • Reservation
Material Orders window: Status of a reservation

Marking the material order as delivered

The material orders can be marked as delivered:

  1. Open the Material Orders menu.

  2. In the Material Orders (All Lines) window, right-click on a material order to open the context menu and select Mark as delivered or Mark all as delivered.

The user permissions for the Mark as delivered and Mark all as delivered options are assigned using the AccessControl service. These operations can only be performed if the user has the required permissions.

In the lines of the selected material orders, the Delivered column shows the time when the order was marked as delivered.

Filtering material orders

  1. Open the Material Orders menu.

  2. In the Material Orders (All Lines) window, select the Filter Material Orders dialog box using filter.

  3. If necessary, enter the following information for the search:

    • Time
Active : The mode and duration can be edited.
Range mode : The exact time period based on date and time can be defined, which is used to filter the material orders. The From and To drop-down lists appear below the mode. Select the date and time in the selection lists.
Relative mode : The number of days, hours and minutes for which the material orders are filtered can be set. The Duration drop-down list appears below the mode. Select the time from the drop-down list.

    • Location
Selected Lines : Only the material orders for one or more selected lines are displayed
Stations : Only the material orders for one or more selected stations are displayed.

The Time and Location filters cannot be disabled at the same time in order to avoid huge data requests from the OrderManagement service. If the time filter is disabled, the location filter is automatically enabled and vice versa.

    • Material requisitions
      Material No.
      Transport Order Id
      Type of order
      Status
History : The Material Orders window displays further information about the history of material orders.

  4. Click OK to apply the filter criteria.

Use filter-delete to reset the filter.

Only the filtered material orders are displayed in the table of the Material Orders (All Lines) window.

Material Orders window: Status of a request

A request is the first step in procuring the materials required to complete a material order.

The status of the request indicates the progress of processing. For each status, there is a separate table column in the Material Orders (All Lines) window. The following table describes all statuses of a request:

Status Description

New

Request (material request) has been created.

Requested

The ERP system has been prompted to create a transport order to process the request.

Created by

A transport order has been created by the ERP system.

In delivery

The transport order is out for delivery. The required material has been released from inventory.

Delivered

The transport order has been delivered.

Cancellation requested

The cancellation of the transport order has been requested.

Canceled

The transport order was canceled.

Fehlgeschlagen

The transport order has failed (e.g. no material available).

The material request depends on the following Admin Settings :
Parameter Type: Global > Group: General > Material order mode
Parameter Type: Global > Group: SRS >Material delivery mode
Parameter Type: Global > Group: SRS > Automatically close material orders (Cancellation requested)
Parameter Type: Global > Group: SRS > Automatically close material orders (Requested)
Parameter Type: Global > Group: SRS > Automatically close material orders (Created)
Parameter Type: Global > Group: SRS > Automatically close material orders (In delivery)

Material Orders window: Status of a reservation

When a reservation is made, the required material is reserved at various storage locations, for example in a climate chamber located on a production line.

The reservation status indicates the progress of the processing. For each status, there is a separate table column in the Material Orders (All Lines) window. The following table describes all statuses of a reservation:

Status Description

Created by

The material calculation has made the reservation based on the material requirements and the appropriate material at a configured storage location. A reservation is only created if the required material is neither on the machine nor in delivery and cannot be obtained from an existing reservation or request.

If there are more than the required materials per material number, the material is selected according to the Admin Settings under Parameter Type: Line > Group: SRS > Material Reservation Algorithm.
Parametertyp Linie

In delivery

Material has been booked out of the storage location and is out for delivery.

Delivered

The material that was in delivery has been checked in at the handover location specified in the reservation.

Canceled

The material requirement estimated by the material calculation has changed and the reservation is no longer required.

Time exceeded

The amount of time for reserved material under Parameter Type: Line > Group: SRS > Material Reservation Duration [Minutes] has been exceeded.

Or:

The amount of time for reserved material in delivery in Parameter Type: Line > Group: SRS > "In Delivery" Material Reservation Duration [minutes] has been exceeded.

Parametertyp Linie

The material calculation has created an emergency order (request) for the material.

Missing

The material has been checked in at a location that is not specified in the reservation. The material calculation is now looking for another way to obtain the material.

Other options depend on the Admin Setting Parameter type: Line > Group: SRS > Material Reservation Duration [Minutes].
Parametertyp Linie

Missing Parts Monitor (All Lines) window

In the Missing Parts Monitor (All Lines) window, you can view material orders for which a transport order could not be created successfully or for which less material than ordered has been or is being delivered.

If multiple material requests generated by a site are missing, only the last missing request for that site is displayed. If a transport order has been created for a later delivery for this combination, the entry is not displayed.

TO Material History window

The TO Material History window displays the history of transport orders for all materials. The window also provides search options based on Transfer Order Id and Mat Id.
