Import configuration files

lc_configuration_manager_upload_file

Under Line Control > Configuration , configuration files are imported into the Line Control module. This allows settings up to line control versions 2.13 to be reused (backward compatibility).

The following files can be imported:

  • LCCoodinator: LineControlCoordinator.config

For more information, see Operations Manual Line Control.

Prerequisites

  • LC admin role

  • The line for which the configuration is to be imported is not in production.

A configuration file is applied immediately after the import. If the line whose configuration file is being imported is in production, processes may change.

Procedure

  1. Open the Line Control > Configuration menu.

  2. In the selection field, select the controller or the LCCoordinator for which the configuration file is to be used.

  3. To select the configuration file to be imported, click add_black Select file.

  4. Select the required file in the file manager and display it in the Configuration menu with Open.

  5. Use Import to import the configuration file into the Line Control module.

The configuration file is imported and applied immediately. A message at the top indicates success.
