Logging and monitoring

For monitoring the Nexeed IAS Infrastructure components, please reference to the Logging and monitoring section of the Nexeed IAS manual for general guidelines.

Rabbitmq is configured to log messagess to the console with JSON formatter at debug level. The following field mappings are used:

  1. verbosity: -

    • The “verbosity” field is mapped to “-”, which means it is effectively disabled or omitted in the JSON output.

  2. time: timestamp

    • The original “time” field (representing the log event timestamp) is renamed to “timestamp”.

  3. msg: message

    • The “msg” field (containing the log message) is renamed to “message”.

  4. domain: logger

    • The “domain” field (indicating the logger domain or subsystem) is renamed to “logger”.

  5. file

    • The “file” field is left unchanged; it will appear in the JSON logs with the same name.

  6. line

    • Similarly, the “line” field is passed through unchanged.

  7. pid

    • The “pid” field (the process ID) is included as is.

  8. level: loglevel

    • The “level” field (indicating log severity) is renamed to “loglevel”.
