Email notifications
The Smart Operations Toolkit sends email notifications, for example when a rule triggers an event. The content of the emails is defined by templates that you can adapt with the agent.
How a notification is created

Something happens that should be reported, for example a rule triggers an event.
The recipients, their language and the values for the email, for example the rule name and the device, are defined for this purpose.

The Smart Operations Toolkit selects the template for the purpose of the notification and the language of the recipient.

It fills the placeholders of the template with the values and sends one email per recipient.
Limits

A notification can be sent to 1 to 100 recipients.

Your organization can send at most 100 emails per hour. Further emails in this hour are not sent.

If the same recipient appears twice in a notification, the email is sent only once.

If a template uses a placeholder for which no value is provided, the email is not sent to this recipient.
Emails about rule events
Every organization has a template for rule events in English and German. It contains the severity, the rule, the device, the measuring point, the time and the value that triggered the rule.

E-Mail-Benachrichtigungen
Das Smart Operations Toolkit sendet E-Mail-Benachrichtigungen, zum Beispiel wenn eine Regel ein Ereignis auslöst. Den Inhalt der E-Mails legen Vorlagen fest, die sich mit dem Agenten anpassen lassen.
Entstehung einer Benachrichtigung

Es tritt etwas ein, das gemeldet werden soll, zum Beispiel löst eine Regel ein Ereignis aus.
Für diesen Zweck sind die Empfänger, ihre Sprache und die Werte für die E-Mail festgelegt, zum Beispiel der Regelname und das Gerät.

Das Smart Operations Toolkit wählt die Vorlage passend zum Zweck der Benachrichtigung und zur Sprache des Empfängers aus.

Es füllt die Platzhalter der Vorlage mit den Werten und sendet je Empfänger eine E-Mail.
Grenzen

Eine Benachrichtigung lässt sich an 1 bis 100 Empfänger senden.

Eine Organisation kann höchstens 100 E-Mails pro Stunde senden. Weitere E-Mails in dieser Stunde werden nicht gesendet.

Erscheint derselbe Empfänger zweimal in einer Benachrichtigung, wird die E-Mail nur einmal gesendet.

Verwendet eine Vorlage einen Platzhalter, für den kein Wert vorliegt, wird die E-Mail an diesen Empfänger nicht gesendet.
E-Mails zu Regelereignissen
Jede Organisation hat eine Vorlage für Regelereignisse auf Englisch und auf Deutsch. Sie enthält den Schweregrad, die Regel, das Gerät, den Messpunkt, die Uhrzeit und den Wert, der die Regel ausgelöst hat.
