Shared persistent volume

For successful deployment using Helm, it is crucial to have a Shared Persistent Volume (SPV) available on the Kubernetes cluster. An SPV allows multiple pods to access the same storage concurrently, which is required for the Zero Downtime Deployment use case.

Options for providing a shared persistent volume

One viable option to meet the SPV requirement is to use the nfs-client StorageClass. The nfs-client leverages an existing NFS (Network File System) server to provide shared storage that can be accessed by multiple pods simultaneously.
