How to work with the configuration file

Open the Excel file.

Click on the Summary worksheet and replace the Configuration Prefix with your own configuration prefix.

To define organization roles, click on the Role Permissions worksheet.

Add a role by adding columns In the MACMA Organization Role column or renaming no longer needed roles.
Do not change the application roles in the other column of the worksheet. They are defined by the Nexeed Industrial Application System modules. -
Enter
x
to a cell to grant a role the privilege for a resource. -
To define groups, click on the Roles of Group worksheet.

Add your own group hierarchy by adding rows and entering the group names in the first column.

Assign roles to groups by entering
x
in the cells at the intersection of the group and role.If you have changed the name of a MACMA Organization Role
in the Role Permissions worksheet, you have to change it in the Roles of Group worksheet as well. -
To define group mapping, click on the Group Mapping worksheet.

Map the groups to the claims of the identity provider by adding rows.
A user is assigned to a group based on the claim value of the identity provider.
If you have changed the name of a group in the Roles of Group worksheet, you have to change it in the Group Mapping worksheet as well. -
Import the configuration file.
Once imported, don’t use the same configuration file again. Instead, Download an existing configuration file so you get all the changes that have been done via the UI or API since your last import.
