Migration from previous versions

The MDM migration is performed automatically when a new version is started for the first time. Generally there is no user intervention needed when upgrading MDM.

Each MDM service automatically migrates its database:

  • If a migration error occurs then the affected service will not start and a log message will provide details for the failed migration.

  • The migration is attempted again at every service restart until it completes successfully

Resource mapping from MES to IAS

There are no MES resources for MES MMPD. Nothing needs to be migrated to IAS for MDM.
