Corrective Task

When a corrective task is selected from machine or tool maintenance, the detailed view of the task opens.

The detail view of the task contains the tabs, the task details and the footer. The task details and footer do not change when the various tabs are accessed.

The detailed view contains the following tabs:

  • Corrective Task — Instructions Tab

    Appraisal of the corrective task as well as descriptions of the problem and solution

  • Corrective Task – Attachments Tab

    Management of attached pictures, videos and documents relating to the corrective task

  • Preventive Task — Spare Parts Tab

    Order spare parts for the corrective task.

    The spare parts tab is only available for devices.

  • Corrective task — work history tab

    Display of all work done on the corrective task

Task details

Element Description

bell / bell deactivated

Enable or disable notifications about changes to the status of the corrective task.

If the status of a task changes, a notification is sent to the Notification Service module. The Notification Service module then processes the notification further.

Date and time when the corrective task was created

Maintenance type

Type of task:

Corrective Maintenance

Task that eliminates a defect, such as a fault or failure

Created by

User who created the corrective task

Telephone Number of the Reporter

Telephone number of the user who created the corrective task

Last update

Date and time when the corrective task was last modified

Status

Status of the corrective task

New

The corrective task has been newly created and has not yet been processed.

Started

The corrective task is being processed.

Resolved

The corrective task has been resolved and completed.

Related Tasks (X)

List of all related corrective tasks

The name, creator, status and date of the last update of the linked task are displayed.

If a related corrective task is selected, the detailed view of the corrective task opens.

Symbol_Plus Add task

Create linked corrective task for a corrective task.

Footer

Save the entered descriptions and changes to the corrective task.

Cancel

Cancel the entered descriptions and changes to the corrective task.

Set In Progress/Resolve

If the status of the corrective task is New , change the status of the corrective task to Started.

If the status of the corrective task is Started , change the status of the corrective task to Resolved.

Change the status of a corrective or preventive task.

Confirm Outstanding Reservations

Reserve Spare Parts for a Corrective or Preventive Task.

Report Working Time

Add work done to a corrective or preventive task.

Corrective Task — Instructions Tab

If a corrective task is selected in the Maintenance > Machine Maintenance or Maintenance > Tool Maintenance tab, the detailed view of the corrective task opens. The appraisal of the task and the solution to the task are displayed in the detailed view in the Instructions tab. The rows must be filled out from top to bottom.

The appraisal is broken down into the following areas:

Any number of solution descriptions can be added.

A line will open when it is selected.

Each line contains the following elements:

Files (images, videos and documents) can be added to a work step.

Gallery tab

Display of attached images in the form of a gallery. The order of the images in the Files tab from top to bottom determines the order of the images in the gallery.

Files tab

Files (images, videos, and documents) that describe the error on which the error is mapped or that show the solution to the error. The files can be edited for all descriptions in the Attachments tab of the detailed task view.

Back/Next Step

The Back and Next step buttons can be used to toggle between the rows.

Symbol_Plus Add Action

The Add Action button is only displayed in the last solution description.

Add additional solution description.

Deleting an action

The Delete Action button is only displayed in the last newly created solution description. Only additionally created solution descriptions can be deleted.

Corrective Task – Attachments Tab

If a corrective task is selected in the Maintenance > Machine Maintenance or Maintenance > Tool Maintenance tab, the detail view of the corrective task opens. All attached files for the task are displayed in the detailed view in the Attachments tab. The attachments are divided into the individual rows of the task. The order of the images from top to bottom determines the order of the images in the gallery in the Instructions tab

Any number of solution descriptions can be added in the Instructions tab. From top to bottom, the solution descriptions are the same as in the Instructions tab.

A line will open when it is selected.

Display of attached images in the form of a gallery. The order of the images in the Files tab from top to bottom determines the order of the images in the gallery.

Corrective Task — Spare Parts Tab

The Spare Parts tab is only available for tasks of a device.

If a corrective task is selected in the Maintenance > Machine Maintenance tab, the detailed view of the corrective task opens. All installed spare parts of the device are displayed in the detailed view in the Spare Parts tab. In the Spare Parts tab, the spare parts that are required to solve the corrective task can be reserved. The listed spare parts are loaded from the linked ERP system.

Search for spare parts in the warehouse. All spare parts from the ERP system are displayed in the warehouse.

Create Corrective Task

The view for a corrective task of a device and that of a tool differs only in the search field.

Machine Maintenance

Prerequisite

User or Administrator role

Procedure

  1. Call up the Maintenance > Machine maintenance menu.

    Or:

    Call up the Maintenance > Tool maintenance menu.

  2. Create creative task with add_border.

  3. Select Add corrective task from the drop-down list.

  4. Select the device using the Facilities field or scan the QR code.

    Or:

    Select the Tool Type and Tool or scan the QR code.

  5. Enter name of the task.

  6. If the device has failed, activate the Failure Occurred? checkbox.

    Breakdown occurred? is only displayed for devices.

  7. If notifications about status changes of the task are required, activate the Notify in Case of Changes bell checkbox.

    If the status of a task changes, a notification is sent to the Notification Service module. The Notification Service module then processes the notification further.

  8. Enter the Description of the error or work.

  9. Select Resolving group and Priority.

  10. Select Malfunction Start.

  11. Enter the Telephone number for the responsible person.

  12. To add attachments:

    Use image::ROOT:137704.png[Symbol_Plus] Add Attachments to upload a file.

    Or:

    Drag and drop the file into the appropriate field.

  13. Create a corrective task with Add.

The corrective task is displayed in the Maintenance > Tool Maintenance or Maintenance > Machine Maintenance menu.

  • To edit the task details, continue with Configure Task Details for a Corrective Task.

  • To appraise the corrective task, continue with Carry Out Appraisal of a Corrective Task.

  • To add further attachments to the corrective task, continue with Configure Task Details for a Corrective Task.

  • To add work done to a corrective task, continue with Add work done to a corrective or preventive task.

  • To change the status of the corrective task, continue with Add work done to a corrective or preventive task.

  • To create a linked corrective task for a corrective task, continue with Create linked corrective task for a corrective task.

The task details for a corrective task of a device and that of a tool differ only in the Device and Tool field.

  2. Select corrective task.

  3. Use bell to deactivate or bell deactivated to activate notifications about changes to the status of the task.

    If the status of a task changes, a notification is sent to the Notification Service module. The Notification Service module then processes the notification further.

  4. Enter name of the task.

  5. Enter the Description.

  6. If the device has failed, activate the Failure Occurred? checkbox.

    Breakdown occurred? is only displayed for devices.

  7. Select Priority.

  8. Select Malfunction start and Malfunction end.

  9. Select Resolving group.

  10. Select the user in the Responsible field.

  11. Confirm details with Save.

The corrective task details are configured.

  • To appraise the corrective task, continue with Carry Out Appraisal of a Corrective Task.

  • To add further attachments to a corrective task, continue with Manage attachments for a corrective or preventive task.

  • To add work done to a corrective task, continue with Add work done to a corrective or preventive task.

  • To change the status of the corrective task, continue with Change the status of a corrective or preventive task.

  • To create a task for a corrective task, continue with Create linked corrective task for a corrective task.

  • To create a linked corrective task for a corrective task, continue with Create linked corrective task for a corrective task.

Carry Out Appraisal of a Corrective Task

The recorded error is described in detail in the Appraisal tab. It describes the error, what caused it and what was done to fix it. If the error cannot be resolved, the troubleshooting steps taken must be logged. The task must then be assigned to a user who can resolve the error.

Add work done to a corrective or preventive task

Assign a corrective or preventive task to a user

Prerequisite

User or Administrator role

Procedure

  1. Call up the Maintenance > Machine maintenance menu.

    Or:

    Call up the Maintenance > Tool maintenance menu.

  2. Select corrective task.

  3. In the detail view, go to the Appraisal tab.

    The Appraisal tab can only be filled out if the status of the task is set to Started.

    The Back and Next step buttons can be used to toggle between the descriptions.

  4. Evaluate task.

  5. Localize errors in situ on the device or tool.

  6. Eliminate error.

  7. Fill out Analysis :

    • What was the error?

    • What caused the error?

  8. Fill out Solution :

    • What was done?

      What troubleshooting actions have been taken?

  9. To add another solution description, select Add Action.

    The add_black Add Action button is only displayed in the last solution description.

  10. To add files to a description:

    • Select a row/description.

    • Call up the Files tab in the description.

    • Use add_black Add attachment to upload a file.

      Or:

    • Drag and drop the file into the field.

      Images are displayed in the gallery tab.

  11. Confirm details with Save.

The corrective task has been appraised.

  • To add work done to a corrective task, continue with Add work done to a corrective or preventive task.

  • If the task could not be resolved and the task is to be assigned to another user, continue with Assign a corrective or preventive task to a user.

  • To add attachments to the corrective task, continue with Configure Task Details for a Corrective Task.

  • To change the status of the corrective task, continue with Change the status of a corrective or preventive task.

  • To create a task for the corrective task, continue with Create linked corrective task for a corrective task.

Create linked corrective task for a corrective task

Linked tasks can be created if additional work has been noticed while the corrective task is being processed. The additional work can be created in the form of linked tasks in the detailed view of the corrective task.

  1. Call up the Maintenance > Machine maintenance menu.

    Or:

    Call up the Maintenance > Tool maintenance menu.

  2. Select corrective task.

  3. In the detailed view of the Task details , select image::ROOT:137704.png[Symbol_Plus] Add task.

  4. Enter the name of the task.

  5. If notifications about changes to the status of the linked task are to be activated, activate the Notify in Case of Changes bell checkbox.

  6. Enter the Description.

  7. Select Resolving group and Priority.

  8. Enter the Telephone number for the responsible person.

  9. To add files to the task:

    • Use image::ROOT:137704.png[Symbol_Plus] Add Attachment to upload a file.

      Or:

    • Drag and drop the file into the Attachments field.

  10. Use Add task to create a task.

The linked corrective task is displayed in the corrective task in Task details under Linked tasks. The task is displayed in the Maintenance > Tool maintenance menu or Maintenance > Machine maintenance menu.

  • To edit the task details for the linked corrective task, continue with Configure Task Details for a Corrective Task.

  • To complete the linked corrective task, continue with Carry Out Appraisal of a Corrective Task.
