Task templates for machines
When a task template is selected from the Machine task templates menu, the detailed view of the task template opens.
The detailed view of the task templates contains the Instructions and Area of application tabs, the template details and the footer.
Older versions and the version with the Enabled status cannot be edited. |

The detailed view contains the following tabs:
Descriptions of the work can be inserted in the tab. The work steps can be inserted in the form of checkboxes, input fields and headers.
Machine task templates — area of application tab
The devices and device types for which the task template is valid can be defined in the tab.

Available versions |
List of the versions of the task template If a version is selected, the detailed view of the version opens. Older versions and the version with the Enabled status cannot be edited. To edit the task template, a new version of the task template must be created. |

Machine task templates — instructions tab
If a task template is selected in the Maintenance > Machine task templates tab, the detailed view of the task template opens. The work steps of the task are defined in the detailed view in the Instructions tab. An instruction can consist of multiple headings, descriptions and instructions. A description can be inserted so that the user can enter the work performed in an input field. A statement can be inserted so that the user can confirm work performed.

The instruction can be filled with the following content:

Description field |
A description field can be inserted so that the user can enter work performed in a text field. The text field cannot be filled out in the task template. In addition, the user can attach files, images or videos to the work performed. The text field can be filled out by the user during editing. |
Instruction field |
An instruction field can be inserted so that the user can confirm work performed with a checkbox. In addition, the user can attach files, images or videos to the work performed. The activity displayed next to the checkbox can be described in the text field. |
Edit the header of the work step, description field or instruction field. |

Mandatory field |
If the Mandatory Field controller is activated, the description field must be filled out or the checkbox must be activated when editing the task. |
Gallery/Files tabs |
Files (images, videos and documents) can be added to the Instruction field or Description field. Gallery tab Display of attached images in the form of a gallery. The images are displayed in the gallery in the order in which they are created in the Files tab from top to bottom. Files tab Files (images, videos and documents) describing the work on which the work is depicted or showing the solution to the work. The files can be edited for all descriptions in the Files tab. |
Create machine task template

Select Preventive or Recommended for action

Enter Name.

Enter the Description.

Select Resolving group.

Select Tags from the drop-down list.
Or:
Enter Tags.

Enter the Estimated duration of the work.

If the device has to be brought to a standstill for the work, activate the Standstill Required controller.

Create task template with Save.
The task is displayed in the Maintenance > Machine task templates menu.

To edit the task template details, continue with Configure details of a machine task template.

To add instructions to the task template, continue with Configure instructions for a machine task template.
Configure details of a machine task template

Select a task template.

Enter Name and Description.

Select Resolving group.
Any number of tags can be assigned to a task template.

Select Tags from the drop-down list.

If the device has to be brought to a standstill for the work, activate the Standstill Required controller.

Confirm details with Save.

Configure instructions for a machine task template

In the detailed view, call up the Instructions tab.

To add a header:

To move the heading of a description field or an instruction field, click and hold the mouse button over the field for two seconds, then move it.

The task template is configured and released. The task template can be selected as a template when creating a preventive task.

Select a schedule.

Enter the name of the schedule.

Select the device using the Facilities field.

Select a Task template for which the schedule is valid.

Enter name of the task.

Enter Description of the preventive task.

Select Resolving group and Priority.
Duration and Required Downtime are displayed for information purposes and can only be edited in the task template.
Task templates for machines -
Select the execution type for the schedule in the Trigger drop-down list:

Continuous : The preventive task is created continuously.
For example, the preventive task can be created every 3 days, regardless of the days of the week.

Calendar : The preventive task is created continuously at a set time.
For example, the preventive task can be created every Monday.

To select a time zone, click
and choose Time Zone from the drop-down list.
-
Select All and Frequency.
The All and Frequency fields are used to set how often a preventive task is created. * Select the frequency of execution with the All field. * Select the unit from the Frequency drop-down list.

Select Initial Due Date.
The due date specifies when the preventive task is to be created with the schedule for the first time.

Select the Execution Period and Execution Period Unit.
The execution period specifies the period before the initial due date in which the preventive task can be started.

Create a schedule with Save.
The schedule is displayed in the Maintenance > Schedules menu and the first preventive task is created. As soon as the preventive task is resolved, the next preventive task is created with the set schedule.
