Preventive task
Preventive tasks are only available for devices in Machine maintenance. A task template is required to create a preventive task. |
If a preventive task is selected from the Machine Maintenance menu, the detailed view of the preventive task opens. The detailed view of the preventive task contains the tabs, the task details and the footer.

Preventive Task — Instructions Tab
If a preventive task is selected in the Maintenance > Machine maintenance tab, the detailed view of the preventive task opens. The appraisal of the preventive task and the work for the preventive task are displayed in the detailed view in the Instructions tab. To be able to resolve the preventive task, all mandatory fields must be filled in and the required checkboxes activated.

The Instructions tab is divided into the following areas:
The fields Header, Description Field and Instruction Field may appear more than once. |
If a description field or an instruction field is selected, it opens.

Description field |
A description field is a text field in which you can enter the work performed. If a description field is marked as a mandatory field, a description must be entered to resolve the task. |
Instruction field |
The work performed can be confirmed with a checkbox in an instruction field. If an instruction field is marked as a mandatory field, the checkbox must be activated to resolve the task. |

Gallery/Files tabs |
Files (images, videos and documents) can be added to a work step. Gallery tab Display of attached images in the form of a gallery. The order of the images in the Files tab from top to bottom determines the order of the images in the gallery. Files tab Files (images, videos, and documents) that describe the error on which the error is mapped or that show the solution to the error. The files can be edited for all descriptions in the Attachments tab of the detailed task view. |

The Back and Next step buttons can be used to toggle between the rows. |
Preventive Task — Attachments Tab
If a preventive task is selected in the Maintenance > Machine Maintenance tab, the detailed view of the preventive task opens. All attached files for the preventive task are displayed in the detailed view in the Attachments tab. The attachments are divided into the individual rows of the preventive task.
The Attachments tab of a preventive task does not differ from the Attachments tab of a corrective task.

Create preventive task

Call up the Maintenance > Machine maintenance menu.

Create preventive task with

Select Add preventive task in the dialog window.

Select the device using the Facilities field.
Or:
Scan QR code.

Select Task Template.

Enter name.
-
Enter the Description.

Select Resolving group and Priority.

Enter the Telephone number for the responsible person.

Select Earliest start date.
-
Select Due date.
-
Enter Estimated Duration.

Select Required downtime.

To add attachments:

Or:
Drag and drop the file into the appropriate field.

Create preventive task with Add.
The preventive task is displayed in the Maintenance > Machine maintenance menu.

To edit the task details for the preventive task, continue with Configure task details for a preventive task.

To appraise the preventive task, continue with Appraise preventive task.

To add performed work to the preventive task, continue with Add work done to a corrective or preventive task.

To change the status of the preventive task, continue with Change the status of a corrective or preventive task.
Configure task details for a preventive task

Select a preventive task.

Enter name and description.

Select Priority.

Select Required downtime.

Select Due date.

Enter Estimated Duration.

Select Resolving Groups.

Select the user in the Responsible field.

Confirm details with Save.
The task details of the preventive task are configured.

To complete the preventive task, continue with Appraise preventive task.

To add work performed to a preventive task, continue with Add work done to a corrective or preventive task.

To change the status of the preventive task, continue with Change the status of a corrective or preventive task.
Appraise preventive task
The work on the preventive task is described in detail in the Instructions tab. If the work cannot be carried out, the steps taken must be logged. The preventive task is then assigned to a user who can resolve the work.

Change the status of a corrective or preventive task
Procedure

Call up the Maintenance > Machine maintenance menu.

Select a preventive task.

In the detailed view, call up the Instructions tab.
The Back and Next step buttons can be used to toggle between the work steps.

Evaluate the preventive task.
-
Localize work on the device on site.
-
Work through the work steps.
If a work step is a mandatory field, the work performed must be entered in the input field or the checkbox activated.

To add files to a work step:

Select the work step.
-
Call up the Files tab.

Use
Add attachment to upload a file.
Or:
Drag and drop the file into the field.
Images are displayed in the Gallery tab of the work step.

Confirm details with Save.
The preventive task has been appraised.

To report additional work performed for a preventive task, continue with Add work done to a corrective or preventive task.

If the preventive task could not be resolved and the preventive task has to be assigned to another user, continue with Assign a corrective or preventive task to a user.

To change the status of the preventive task, continue with Change the status of a corrective or preventive task.
