Digital shift information
The Digital shift information is used to transfer information to the subsequent shift (e.g. incidents or tasks still to be completed). Provided it has not yet been published, the digital shift information can be edited to make additions or changes.
The digital shift information must be published in order for it to be transferred to the next shift. Under Shopfloor > Administration > Configuration , the Shift Book Admin operator specifies the following for publishing the digital shift information:

The earliest possible time before the end of the shift for manual publication
Publish digital shift information timeconfiguration parameter -
The latest possible time after shift change for automatic publication
Auto publish digital shift information timeconfiguration parameter
If digital shift information has been published for a shift, the following shift will receive information about it in the calendar overview, and the shift members must confirm that they have read this information.
Add digital shift information

Procedure

Click the current shift.

Click

Select the Digital shift information option.
The <Datum der Schicht (Schichttyp)> dialog opens.

Enter information/messages.

Click Save.
The digital shift information is saved.
Edit digital shift information

The Shift book tab is open. Shift book tab.

Digital shift information has been added for the current shift. Add digital shift information.
Procedure

Click the shift.

Click

Select the Digital shift information option.
The <Datum der Schicht (Schichttyp)> dialog opens.

Click

Make changes.

Click Save.
The digital shift information is saved.
Publish digital shift information

Digital shift information has been added or edited for the current shift.
Procedure

Click the shift.

Click

Select the Digital shift information option.
The <Datum der Schicht (Schichttyp)> dialog opens.

Click Publish.
It is only possible to publish the digital shift information from a certain time onward prior to the end of the shift; this time is specified by the Shift Book Admin operator under Shopfloor > Administration > Configuration using the configuration parameter
Publish digital shift information time.
The digital shift information is published for the following shift.

Confirm digital shift information
Prerequisites

The Shift book tab is open. Shift book tab.

Digital shift information is present.
Procedure

Click
in the current shift.The Digital shift information confirmation dialog opens.

Read and observe the information/messages.

Activate the I have read the digital shift information switch
. -
Click Confirm.
The digital shift information is confirmed and removed from the calendar overview.
