Rules

In this device specific view, all rules of the selected device are listed and can be managed. New rules can be created, updated, copied or deleted. It is also possible to change the state of a rule to Active, Inactive or Waiting for Approval. Within the overview it is possible to jump to rule related views, like creating a quick reaction in Deviation Management Module.

Element Description

fullscreen Filter

It is possible to filter by Rule Event Code, Severity, Title, State, Part Type and Rule Conditions. The condition filter will be set by define a list of measurement points and functions, which are used in the rule. So it can be filtered by the way how the rule will be triggered.

It is possible to hide and show the columns of the overview.

If a new rule is created for the device, the device or device type cannot be changed. To create a new rule for another device or device type, switch to the Rules management menu.

Column Description

State

State of the rule, which can be Active, Inactive or Waiting for Approval.

Severity

Severity of the rule, which can be Low, Medium or High.

Title

Title of the rule

Context

Context of the rule, which can be a Device or Device Type.

Function

The used functions in the conditions of the rule.

Measurement Point

The used measurement points in the conditions of the rule.

Code

Code of the rule event, which is used when the rule gets triggered.
