Prerequisites

  • Administration: Admin role

  • The Cycle Times tab opens. Cycle Times tab

Procedure

  1. Select equipment

  2. Select time stamp

The new target cycle times apply from the selected time stamp.

  3. To see the desired type group(s), deactivate the watch-on Only with target cycle time filter if necessary.

  4. Select the type group(s) by activating the checkbox at the beginning of the relevant line(s).

  5. Click mdm_edit_icon Edit.

If the time stamp has not yet been set, the Time stamp dialog opens with a corresponding note.

    kpi_administration_cycle_times_timestamp_not_touched_dialog
    • Select the date and time.

    • Click Continue.

The Edit Cycle Times dialog opens.

      kpi_dialog_edit_cycle_times_2024_02
  6. Make changes.

    • Type group

      Displays the selected type group(s).

    • Target Cycle Time

Input of the target cycle times in seconds.

    • <n> workers

Input of the target cycle times in seconds for <n> workers.

    • add_black Add worker

      Add an additional worker.

The system operator can limit the number in Shopfloor management > Administration > Configuration using the configuration parameter Minimum number of workers and Maximum number of workers.

    • add_black Add process number

Assign additional process numbers to the type group.

The system operator must activate the input of process-dependent target cycle times either globally or per line under Shopfloor Management > Administration > Configuration using the configuration parameter Process number dependent target cycle times.

    • Process number

The process number(s) of the higher-level type group.

Only the process numbers that are defined in Master Data Management > Process are available for selection. Subprocesses are not supported.

    • delete

      Delete row.

  7. Click Save.

The target cycle times for the type group(s) are saved.

If target cycle times are set for a date and/or time within a shift, the target cycle times do not apply until the beginning of the next shift.

Target cycle times are in principle valid for an unlimited period from the selected time stamp and can only be overwritten by target cycle times further in the future, but never deleted or deactivated in sections.

An existing target cycle time is automatically extended into the past if a new target cycle time differs only in the time stamp, but the value of the new target cycle time is unchanged.

If the assignment of a process number is deleted, the entire target cycle time history including the currently valid target cycle time of the process number is permanently deleted.
