Introduction

The Nexeed Product Setup Management module offers the central management of product bills of material (BOMs) and product development plans (assignment of machine components/work plans) offline or synchronized from SAP ERP.

The module includes the following core functionalities:

  • Management (creating, changing, deleting) of product bills of material chronologically (versioned by date) or versioned by change number or revision status.

  • Management (creating, changing, deleting) of product development plans versioned via an internal index with optional specification of the production version.

  • Options for extended application-specific configuration for part and material number (product or component) with extension parameters (Custom Action templates).

  • Synchronization function of product bills of material (production parts list) and product development plans (production work plan) via MES/IAS ERPConnectivity.
