Introduction

Setup Specs manages setup parameters for the production – also known as recipe management.

The user can maintain specific parameters for the machines for each product which are used for clear instructions on how a product needs to be created or tested.

Main features

Administration
- Maintain Product Hierarchy (Area, Family, Product, Product-Variant)

Maintain Setup Parameters for Process Experts
- Maintain parameters for location specific sets, application specific sets and processes
- Linkage of existing parameters to multiple products
- Support of simple parameters and arrays
- Support of validation of parameters
- Logging of versions/history
- Comparison of versions

Maintenance of Releases for Planners
- Maintain variants for products
- Maintain release status for variants
- Maintain release status for lines
- Create tickets to assign change activities to solution groups

Import / Export - Export of products and setup parameters in JSON and DAT format
- Import of setup parameters

Migration - Migration of Setup Control to Setup Specs
