Sharing
Provides another organization access to functionality or data, represented as privileges on resources. Multitenant Access Control offers two types of sharing:
Provision
Outdated term: application sharing
Allows contractual partner organization to use module functionality for their own purposes.
Roles of an application, including the related resources, can be shared using a contract of the type Provision which allows another organization to use the application on its own data and thus for their own purposes. This type of sharing is typically used to make an application (or parts of an application’s functionality) available to an organization.
If you have access to Bosch Tube, have a look at our introduction video on creating a contract to provide access to applications:
Access
Outdated terms: data sharing, resource sharing, tenant sharing (please rather use "sharing between tenants")
Allows contractual partner organization to act on behalf of my organization.
Roles of an application, including the related resources, can be shared using a contract of type Access to grant another organization access to the providing tenant’s data and functionality. That way information can be made available to other tenants and services like support, monitoring or management by support providers can be allowed.
