Unit load types
Overview: Load unit types
The load unit types are created and edited under Material flow data > Load unit types. Load units are used to transport the materials.

Creating or Editing Load Unit Type
Prerequisite
Role Transport Management Administrator or Transport Management Logistik Planer or Stock Management Administrator or Stock Management Logistik Planer
Procedure

Open the Material flow data > Unit load types menu.

Add a load unit type with
New load unit type.
Or:
To edit a load unit type, click the tile of the load unit type.

Make entries in the General tab.

To select compatible trailer types, select the Compatible trailer types tab.

Select compatible trailer types:

: Move all trailer types to the Compatible trailer types area. -
: Move all trailer types to the Incompatible trailer types area. -
Select all : Select all trailer types in the Incompatible trailer types or Compatible trailer types area.

Delete selection: Deselect all trailer types in the Incompatible trailer types or Compatible trailer types area.

: Move selected trailer types to the Compatible trailer types area. -
: Move selected trailer types to the Incompatible trailer types area.

To select compatible vehicle types, select the Compatible vehicle types tab.

Select compatible vehicle types:

: Move all vehicle types to the Compatible vehicle types area.

: Move all vehicle types to the Incompatible vehicle types area.

Select all : Select all vehicle types in the Incompatible vehicle types or Compatible vehicle types area.

Delete selection: Deselect all vehicle types in the Incompatible vehicle types or Compatible vehicle types area.

: Move selected vehicle types to the Compatible vehicle types area.

: Move selected vehicle types to the Incompatible vehicle types area.

Use Save to create a load unit type or save changes.
The new or edited load unit type appears in the Material flow data > Load unit types menu.
Deleting a unit load type
Prerequisite
Role Transport Management Administrator or Transport Management Logistik Planer or Stock Management Administrator or Stock Management Logistik Planer
Procedure

Open the Material flow data > Unit load types menu.

Delete the unit load type with
.Or:
Select the unit load type and in the Unit load type - <Name> dialog box, click Delete to delete the unit load type.

In the unit load type dialog box, click Delete to permanently delete it.
The unit load type is deleted and no longer appears in Material flow data > Unit load types.
