Filter functions in Tool Management
Filtering the tools and components table
In Tool Management, the Tools & Components table can be filtered by release status, health status, area, group, serial number, SAP equipment id, tool type number, last update and properties. The type can be filtered via a separate field in the tabs. The Tools & Components table is located on the following tabs:

Click on the Tool Management > Tool Information > Tools & Components tab.
Or:
Click on the Tool Management > Tool Administration > Tools & Components tab.
Or:
Click on the Tool Management > Tool Actions > Block tab.
Or:
Click on the Tool Management > Tool Actions > Release tab.

Open the filter with
.

To set filters for release status, health status or area, select Release State, Health State or Area and activate the checkboxes.
Active filters are shown with
and
.
Active filters can be deleted with
.

To set filters for the group, select Group and enter the name of the group in full or in part.

To set serial number filters, select Serial Number and enter the serial number or part of it.

To set filters for the SAP equipment ID, select SAP Equipment ID and enter the SAP equipment ID in full or in part.

To set filters for the tool type number, select Tool Type Number and enter the tool type number in full or in part.

Set filters for updates to the tool or component within a time period:
-
Select Last Update.
-
Select period from the Last Update drop-down list.
Start Date and End Date can only be selected if Last Update (Individual) is selected.

If Last Update (Individual) is selected, choose Start Date and End Date.

Set filter for properties:
-
Select Property by entering the name of the property in full or in part and selecting the property from the drop-down list.

Add the Property to the filters with
.

Select the Property in the filters.
-
Enter a value for the property in full or in part.
Or
Select desired checkboxes for enumeration type properties.

To delete all selected filters, select Reset all.
-
Apply filter with Apply.
Only tools or components with the selected filters are displayed in the table.
Filtering the history of a tool or component
The history of tools and components can be filtered by events and all changes to a tool or a component within a time period.

Click on the Tool Management > Tool Administration > Tools & Components tab.

Select a tool or component.
-
In the detailed view, click on the History tab.

Open the filter with
.

To set filters for one or more events, select Event Types.
The following event types are available:
-
Tool / Component Created
Display the entry where the tool or component was created.

Tool / Component Deleted
Display entries where the tool or component has been deleted.
-
Release State Changed
Display entries where the release state of the tool or component has been changed.
-
Health State Changed
Display entries where the health status of the tool or component has been changed.
-
Added To Parent Position
Display entries where the component has been attached to a tool or component.
-
Removed From Parent Position
Display entries where the component has been removed from a tool or component.
-
Area Changed
Display entries where the area of the tool or component has been changed.
-
_Name Changed
Display entries where the name of the tool or component has been changed.
-
Serial Number Changed
Display entries where the serial number of the tool or component has been changed.

Small Maintenance Performed
Display entries where small maintenance has been performed on the tool or component.
-
Large Maintenance Performed
Display entries where large maintenance has been performed on the tool or component.

SAP Equipment ID Changed
Display entries where the SAP equipment ID of the tool or component has been changed.

Mounted On Machine
Display entries where the tool has been mounted in a device.

Unmounted From Machine
Display entries where the tool has been unmounted from a device.

Facility Of The Tool Changed
Display entries where the facility of the tool has been changed.

Counter Created
Display entries where a counter has been created for the tool or component.
-
Counter Updated
Display entries where a counter of the tool or component has been updated.
-
Counter Deleted
Display entries where a counter of the tool or component has been deleted.

Counter Reached Warning Limit
Display entries where a counter of the tool or component has reached the warning limit.

Counter Reached Blocking Limit
Display entries where a counter of the tool or component has reached the blocking limit.

Counter Reset
Display entries where a counter of the tool or component has been reset.

Usage(s) Manually Added
Display entries where a counter of the tool or component based on usages has been increased manually.

Good Part(s) Manually Added
Display entries where a counter of the tool or component based on good parts has been increased manually.

Bad Part(s) Manually Added
Display entries where a counter of the tool or component based on bad parts has been increased manually.

Property Added
Display entries where a value for a property has been entered in the tool or component.

Property Updated
Display entries where a value for a property has been updated in the tool or component.

Property Removed
Display entries where a value for a property has been deleted in the tool or component.
-
Position Created
Display entries where a position has been created for the tool or component.
-
Position Removed
Show entries where a position has been removed from the tool or component.
-
Component Attached To Position
Display entries where a component has been attached at the position of the tool or component.

Component Removed From Position
Display entries where a component has been removed from the position of the tool or component.

Custom Event
Display entries where a history entry has been added to the history of the tool or component.

To set filters for a reason, select Reasons.

Select Action from the drop-down list.
-
Select the reason.
-

Set filters for updates within a time period:
-
Select Last Update.
-
Select period from the Last Update drop-down list.
Start Date and End Date can only be selected if Last Update (Individual) is selected.

If Last Update (Individual) is selected, choose Start Date and End Date.

To remove the filter selection, choose Reset All.
-
Apply filter with Apply.
Only history entries with the selected filters are displayed in the table.
Filtering the types table
Types can be filtered based on group, status, tool type number, kind of type and last update. The status can be used to display deleted types. The status is not related to the health or release state. If no filters are set, all active types are displayed by default.

Click on the Tool Management > Tool Administration > Types tab.

To set filters for the group, select Group and enter the name of the group in full or in part.

To set filters for the status, select State and activate the checkboxes for Active or Deleted.

To set filters for the tool type number, select Tool Type Number and enter the tool type number in full or in part.

Set filter for updates to type within a time period:

Select Last Update.

Select period from the Last Update drop-down list.
Start Date and End Date can only be selected if Last Update (Individual) is selected.

If Last Update (Individual) is selected, choose Start Date and End Date.

Only types with the selected filters are displayed in the table.
Filtering the type history
The history of types can be filtered by events and all changes to a type in a time period.

Open the Tool Management > Tool Administration > Types tab.

Select type.
-
In the detailed view, click on the History tab.

To set filters for one or more events, select Event Types.
The following event types are available:

Type Created
Display the entry where the type was created.

Type Updated
Display entries where the general data of the type has been updated.
-
Type Deleted
Show entries where the type was deleted.
-
Type Recovered
Display entries where the type has been restored.
-
Mounting Restrictions Changed
Display entries for which a mounting restriction has been created, changed or deleted for the type.

Property Added
Display entries where a property has been created for the type.
-
Property Updated
Display entries where a property of the type has been updated.
-
Property Removed
Display entries where a property of the type has been deleted.
-
Counter Template Created
Display entries where counter templates have been created for the type.
-
Counter Template Updated
Display entries where a counter template of the type has been updated.
-
Counter Template Removed
Display entries where a counter template of the type has been deleted.

Position Definition Created
Display entries where a position definition has been created for the type.
-
Position Definition Removed
Display entries where a position definition of the type has been deleted.

Position Definition Updated
Display entries where a position definition of the type has been updated.

Failure Added
Display entries where a failure has been added to the type.

Failure Removed
Display entries where a failure has been removed from the type.

Custom Event
Display entries where a history entry has been added to the history of the type.

To set filters for a reason, select Reasons.
Configuration: Predefined Reasons * Select Action from the drop-down list. * Select the reason.

Set filter for updates within a time period:
-
Select Last Update.
-
Select period from the Last Update drop-down list.
Start Date and End Date can only be selected if Last Update (Individual) is selected.

If Last Update (Individual) is selected, choose Start Date and End Date.

To remove the filter selection, choose Reset All.

Apply filter with Apply.
Only entries with the selected filters are displayed in the table.
Filtering the counter monitor view
The Counter Monitor view can be filtered by release status, health status, area, group, serial number, SAP equipment id, tool type number, last update and properties.
Tools not applying to selected filters are also displayed as long as any selected filter applies to an attached component. |

Open the Tool Management > Tool Information menu entry.

Click on the Counter Monitor tab.

The dialog window opens. -
Enter data in the Filter Tools & Components window.
To set filters for release status, health status or area, active the checkbox next to Release State, Health State or Area.
Active filters are shown with.
Active filters can be deleted with. Start Date and End Date can only be selected if Last Update (Individual) is selected.

Confirm with Apply.
All entries that meet the specified filter criteria are shown in the list.
To delete all selected filters, select Reset all. |
