CSV import target cycle times

Prerequisites

  • Administration: Admin role

  • The Cycle Times tab opens. Cycle Times tab

Procedure

  1. Select the desired line as Facility

  2. Select the desired time stamp from which the target cycle times should be imported.

  3. Click import CSV import.

    The CSV import dialog opens.

    The dialog gives you the option to download an example CSV file to check the file format.

  4. Drag and drop the CSV file into the designated area or click to open the file selection dialog of the operating system.

  5. Select the CSV file to be imported in the file system.

    Only one file may be selected.

  6. Click Open.

  7. Click Import.

    The CSV file is imported (uploaded).

    The CSV import dialog opens and informs you about the result.

The target cycle times (optional depends on worker number and/or process number) defined in the CSV file have been imported.

CSV file format

  • TypeGroup

    • mandatory

    • Reference to an existing type group

    • String up to 80 characters

    • semicolon (;) within type group name is not allowed (used as column separator)

  • TargetCycleTime

    • mandatory

    • Target cycle time in seconds

    • Floating point value > 0

    • with a maximum of three decimal places (millisecond resolution)

  • Worker

    • optional: If target cycle time depends on count of worker

    • Integer value > 0

  • ProcessNo

    • optional: If target cycle time depends on process number

    • Integer value

  • The first line of the file must contain the corresponding column names.

  • Columns are separated by a semicolon (;).

  • Empty lines are not allowed.

  • Every line must contain a value for all columns defined in the first line (if optional columns are not used, they must be left empty, use trailing semicolon (;)).

  • The type groups refered in the CSV file must still exist.

  • Target cycle time values that are already effective are ignored.
