Introduction to the Part Traceability Module
The module Part Traceability identifies all quality data that is generated during the production process. This quality data can be used to analyze production errors and thus optimize production processes and production procedures. Quality data analysis improves production quality, enables product traceability and prevents product recalls.
The module visualizes part errors and process data. Entire part life cycles can be recorded and displayed in reports. In addition to the measurements, production information is also recorded: Namely, which additional components were installed in the products or which material batch was used. Part Traceability module also provides packaging information of a part.
The archiving functionality enables fulfillment of product liability requirements for manufactured products by handling data exchange between the Part Traceability module and the Archiving Bridge module, respectively a long-term storage solution.
Main function
Create evaluations (search and display quality data):

Part Protocol: Available information about a part that has been collected during the production process, e.g. process results, packaging information, built-in components, etc.

Forward Search: Parts where a specific component has been installed.

Backward Search: Components that have been installed in a specific part.

Tool Usage: Parts that have been processed with a specific tool.

Packaging Information: Packaging information of a part.

Roles and permissions
All modules of the Nexeed Industrial Application System are based on permissions. Depending on the permissions, different functions are available in a module.
To enable functions, the user is assigned a role based on the desired permission. Permissions are managed in the Multitenant Access Control module.
The standard configuration of the module includes the following roles:

The standard configuration of the Part Traceability module includes the above mentioned role, so that no further roles and permissions are necessary to use all module’s functionalities as described in this User Manual.
