Configuration Menu
The Packaging Control > Configuration menu is used to upload and display standard configurations, print templates and scripts, workflow configurations, images and documents for the Packaging Control and the Packaging Control client.

The Configuration menu contains the following tabs:

Upload print templates and scripts for printing labels for the Packaging Control and the Packaging Control client

Upload workflow configurations for the Packaging Control client

Configuration tab
The Packaging Control > Configurations tab is used to upload and display the standard configurations for the Packaging Control and the Packaging Control client.
The standard configuration PackagingControl_Configuration.xml determines the sequence of packaging steps in the Packaging Control. The standard configuration PackagingControl_Configuration.xml is required for the Packaging Control to function properly.
The standard configuration PackagingControl_ClientConfiguration.xml determines the sequence of packaging steps in the Packaging Control client. The standard configuration PackagingControl_ClientConfiguration.xml is required for the Packaging Control client to function properly. The configurations are created in the OSS configurator.

Print Tab
The Packaging Control > Print tab is used to upload and display print templates and scripts for printing labels. The print templates and scripts are automatically executed or printed in the packaging process in the Packaging Control or in the Packaging Control client. The print templates or scripts must be configured according to the printer used.

Client Workflow Tab
The Packaging Control > Client Workflow tab is used to upload and display workflow configurations. The workflow configurations define specific processes in the Packaging Control client that are not included in the standard packaging process. Specific processes in the packaging process include, for example, the recording and validation of additional data for products. The workflow configurations are created with the Orchestration Workflow Editor.

Client Visual Inspection Tab
The Packaging Control > Visual Inspection tab is used to upload and display images or documents for visual inspection in the Packaging Control client. The visual inspection is a packaging step in the Packaging Control client. The images or documents are displayed to the user in the visual inspection packaging step. Images or documents can facilitate visual inspection during packaging. The images or documents are referenced via the type number, the type variant and/or the packaging index.

Client Validation of Parts Lists Tab
The Packaging Control > Client Validation of Parts Lists tab is used to upload and display images and documents for the validation of parts lists. The validation of parts lists is a packaging step in the Packaging Control Client. The images or documents are displayed to the user in the validation of parts lists packing step. Images or documents can facilitate the validation of parts lists during packing. The images or documents are referenced via the type number, the type variant and/or the packaging index.

The uploading of files in the Configuration, Print or Client Workflow tabs differs only in the permitted file types that can be uploaded.

Open the Packaging Control > Configuration menu.

Select file from file system.

Import configuration with Upload.
The standard configurations must be activated in the Configuration tab so that the standard configurations are applied. The print templates or scripts are applied to the Packaging Control and the Packaging Control client. The workflow configurations are applied to the Packaging Control client.
The standard configurations, workflow configurations, print templates and scripts are displayed in the Configuration , Print or Client Workflow tab.
Upload images or documents in the client visual inspection client validation of parts lists tab
The uploading of files in the Client Visual Inspection and Client Validation of Parts Lists tabs differs only in the permitted file types that can be uploaded. Images or documents are displayed in the visual inspection or validation of parts lists packaging step in the Packaging Control Client

Depending on which Restriction is selected, the Type Number , Type Variant or Packaging Index fields appear.
