Distribution overview
The Distribution Overview is your central hub for managing software distributions. Distributions are collections of commands (software artifacts and custom commands) that can be deployed to devices as a coordinated package. You can define execution sequences and manage the rollout process efficiently.
What are distributions?
Distributions are created in the Device Portal to bundle and use a defined number of commands (software artifacts and custom commands) for a rollout. A sequence of these commands can be defined, which are then executed one after the other during the rollout.
Distribution management
If a distribution has not yet been used for a rollout, it can be edited in the Distribution Overview. Processing involves adding or deleting commands.
If a distribution has already been used for a rollout, it can no longer be edited. In this case, a copy of the distribution can be created, which can then be edited.
